A day in the deer park (Camera test)

I got tired of waiting for the 4k Black Magic Production Camera, so I ordered a 2,5k MFT mount Cinema camera to use until the 4k version materialize.
The day I recieved my camera it was sunny and I had the rest of the day off, so I decided to take the camera to the local deer park in Aarhus, Denmark to get to know it & the raw video files.
Had I been a better editor, I would have made something more dynamic, but since this is just a camera test, I didn’t want to use lot of time editing this piece. Edited in Final Cut Pro X & graded in Davinci Resolve.

Some clips are overexposed since I wanted to see how far I could overexpose the raw files and still pull back the highlights.

I used Nikon lenses on a Nikon G to MFT adapter for this informal test, mostly the 70-200mm 2,8G VR II and the 16-35mm 4G VR. I’m looking forward to getting a Metabones Speedbooster next week, to get a more S35 like look.

Download the video to view it in the best quality. The amount of detail in the images is amazing considering the price of this camera.
